INDESCRIBABLE lyrics:
From the highest of heights to the depths of the sea Creation's revealing Your majesty From the colors of fall to the fragrance of spring Every creature unique in the song that it sings All exclaiming
Indescribable, uncontainable You placed the stars in the sky and You know them by name You are amazing God All powerful, untamable Awestruck we fall to our knees as we humbly proclaim You are amazing God
Who has told every lightning bolt where it should go Or seen heavenly storehouses laden with snow Who imagined the sun and gives source to its light Yet conceals it to bring us the coolness of night None can fathom
Indescribable, uncontainable, You placed the stars in the sky and You know them by name You are amazing God All powerful, untamable, Awestruck we fall to our knees as we humbly proclaim You are amazing God You are amazing God
Indescribable, uncontainable, You placed the stars in the sky and You know them by name. You are amazing God INCOMPARABLE, unchangeable You see the depths of my heart and You love me the same You are amazing God You are amazing God

| | Here are some scenes... it's much sunnier than it looks, think my phone camera just makes it a tad duller and grey... |
This is her, after feeding... most of the time she wakes, cries for milk, gets fed, has 5-30 min of happy time (as captured in this video), either falls asleep or asks for more milk before falling asleep, wakes, and cycle repeats... uncle Danny is just one big milk maker/heater/feeder. Oh, and she doesn't need to be burped! DS baby vid.3GP (129 KB)
During feeding... music in background is classical radio station - very soothing for baby... try to catch her little smile while sucking on the bottle... MOV00123.3GP (277 KB)
| | Here she is being fed... drinks a lot and fast some more... and keeps staring at me when i feed her... |
| | This is the pictorial representation of what i described in my 5th Day blog....
And as requested - the HK MTR map to compare... |
21:56hrs. 4 June 07. London.
(Ok, it's either the 5th day (if i count from last Thurs) or the 6th, counting from Wed when i arrived late at night)
Am in sister's computer room in Mitcham, just south of London city, typing furiously as baby falls asleep to the lulling sound of keyboard while lying in Moses basket next to me and bro-in-law in shed out back. Lots to report to my folks back home about my sister, whose condition is getting better (broad strokes only cos she's rather private and wouldn't want too many details in a public blog....)
Sidetrack: i love what i am using now - my sister's Dell Inspiron - fast, smooth in transiting btw diff programs, makes my Dell Latitude at home look like a snail...must find out the specs b4 i leave.
London - driving is terrible cos the roads are narrow and congested. My bro-in-law has another car lying around that he has yet to sell, but i'd rather not drive.
Not driving - well, is tough too. Not only does the bus from their place come only 3-4 times an hour, i've also to come to grips with the rather convoluted subway (or tube) system. For the uninitiated: there are 12 lines...crisscrossing like nobody's biz - i should put up the map sometime - which is either confusing.... or actually helpful. E.g. i went down a wrong escalator once and ended up on platform for a different line, but because this line would intersect with the other in one or two stations, i could take that 'wrong train', and change to the right one 2 stations later... anyway, if you can do maze puzzles or play Doom or CS, you should do fine navigating the rather fun maze of the London underground.
They operate either with paper tickets that has a magnetic strip behind, or with flash card technology like our Transitlink.... they call it the Oyster and i've nicked my sister's and am prouding moving around London like a savvy tourist trying to pass off as a local... if i dressed a little more prudishly, i would look quite like most of the chinese here... until i open my mouth of course :>>> Still, having visited enough shops with shoptenders from all over the world, i would say that the singaporean accent - at least, my singaporean accent - is not too bad... the presumably-eastern-european lady taking my orders over the Subway counter took forever to communicate with me, both in listening and speaking...
Attended church at All Souls' on Sunday. It's John Stott's church and the staff there must be proud of it, mentioning it several times throughout the service, introducing latest books by him during announcements, etc. I must say that other than the subtle sales pitch, i was very ministered from the get-go, with the duty pastor welcoming people by saying that he hoped we had a good week, but probably many of us would be struggling with issues, burdens, sin, etc. and therefore let's come before God with a humble attitude and let the words from the 2nd verse of the opening song speak to your heart... all who spoke from the pulpit were engaging, honest and authentic - felt very much like CEFC... save for the dry and totally enjoyable british wit.
Oh, plus the church is right smack in the middle of their main shopping area Oxford/Regent St.....
Ok, my niece is stirring now... time to feed her again before bedtime... for baby and me too... hope you are all well as you read this... if not, know that someone wrote about what God said and still says: 'I have loved you with an everlasting love... and I have drawn you with my loving kindness...'
Cheerios
It's been such good weather - sunny like Singapore, clear skies, cool wind, 15-18deg. Yesterday i was walking around in jeans and t-shirt (the dark blue CEFC christmas one) and it was hot!
Had one afternoon walking along river Thames - Big Ben, London Eye (huge ferris wheel which singapore is trying to emulate). Walked along Oxford and Regent St too - their main shopping road.
Sigh - no mood to sightsee though - worried about my sister's recovery and busy making arrangements with my bro-in-law for childcare for 3 mth old niece Estella - she's such a charming baby - so that things can go on while my sister's still in hospital.
Hope to go to at least one guitar shop before coming back... drool but cannot buy cos everything's sooooo expensive.
Email me instead of sms - my singapore mobile's battery is low and i either did not pack my charger or it fell out of my luggage....
Til then.... hope to blog some more before i return on Sat/Sunday
Blogging for the first time.. and from London somemore... :>>> It's 9am London time and i'm writing from my frens' place at Canary Wharf in London - their equivalent of Raffles Place.. and yes, they stay 5 mins' walk from that... So grateful for smooth flights to Bangkok (transit) and London (3 seats empty all for me); easy-to-navigate subway (tube) system that enabled me to find my way to my frens' (EP and XY) place at Canary Wharf. They had dinner delivered to their place - guess what - Thai food... ahaha... they've been so warm and hospitable. Leaving now - sunny weather outside, 14-17 deg... going to see a little bit of town before seeing my sister at 4pm when visiting hours open for her hospital. Later - or cheerios.. Listen to them just to get a feel of the songs... our arrangement may differ a little. | Track 07 | | Untitled Album | | Unknown Artist | | | Lord Most High | | Around Your Throne II | | Ross Parsley | | | You Are The One | | Amazed | | Lincoln Brewster | | | Shout to the North | | Around Your Throne | | New Life Church (Ross Parsley) | | | Knocking on the Door of Heaven | | Around Your Throne | | New Life Church (Ross Parsley) | | | Jesus Is Lord | | You Are The One | | Various Artists | | | Rise Up And Praise Him | | First Love | | Paul Baloche | |
